Camp Nasaru

Nasaru, Kajiado County, Kenya

Hope Anew Charitable Trust in Nairobi, Kenya is dedicated to promoting the truth of the Word of God to younger generations and setting them on the path to a right relationship with God by providing opportunities to learn about the mighty works of God and His Son Jesus Christ.

We are rejoicing at God’s provision of nine acres of land nestled in our own little section of The Great Rift Valley; a picturesque area away from the hustle and bustle of the city! This is the place where we have established Christian camp/retreat facilities for biblical instruction and recreation.  It is our prayer that the lives of many children and youth will be impacted and transformed through the power of the gospel.  We also welcome Christian groups to come for rest, healing and recreation while they are being renewed and strengthened by God’s Word.

We would like to invite you to be a praying partner with us to raise the funds needed to build a multi-purpose building to host various activities, additional cabins to add to the current accommodations, and more activities for the recreation area. Thank you so much for your support and God bless you!

"Come and see the works of God; He is awesome in His doing toward the sons of men." Psalm 66:5

How it began…

In 2013, we acquired four acres of land in Kajiado County and in 2015 we added and additional five acres.

Camp Nasaru Vision

Construction of Tent Cabins Begins

Cabins to protect safari tents from strong winds. The tents can accommodate eight people comfortably.

We added a deck on top to enjoy the view of the mountains.

A completed tent cabin; we have five of them.

Preparing our recreation field for grass planting.

Trying to get it done in time for the rains!

The grass has come in nicely in the first field and ready to receive guests.

This was our first time hosting visitors to the campsite after the cabins were constructed.

Next, we welcomed men from our church as they held a men’s breakfast.

In September of 2023, we welcomed a group friends, some of whom were ministry leaders who came for fellowship, rest and spiritual renewal.

And our inaugural event over the Resurrection Day holiday in 2024

Welcoming our guests to Camp Nasaru!

The church service was held on one of the upper decks of the cabins.

Enjoying a devotional and worship music at the fire.

Games on the recreation field.

Of course there has to be nyama choma!

Glory to God for all that He has done!
